"Chin Up" and "Yes, I'm Looking At You" were finalists in an online show.

"Chin Up" also won the Judges Award in the Pastel Society of NH Member Show. The Judge was Cindy House - here are her comments:

"The artist skillfully presented this little pig with attitude and oodles of cuteness, but in doing so she showed her expertise in handling pastel.

The simple composition is chosen with the subject in mind. I like the way she blended the background into the subject itself. She made you want to stroke its fur and poke its rubbery nose! Congratulations, Carol".
